2012 nandhi awards

Prince Mahesh Babu gets the prestigious Nandi Award for the year 2011 for his performance in Dookudu. Nayanatara got the award for her performance as Sita in Sri Rama Rajyam.

The state government has announced the awards here on Saturday.

Award Jury member S Gopal Reddy has announced the awards. The awards would be presented by the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy in January 2013.

Srirama Rajyam stole away most awards while Prince Mahesh Babu's Dookudu shared the rest. While Srirama Rajyam was adjudged the best film, Rajanna was adjudged the second best and Virodhi, the third best.
