RATING: 3/5

Story: Ravi (Allu Arjun), young and dynamic boy dreams big and aims to earn quick money. Ravi takes Rs Ten thousand from his father (Tanikella) promising him earning Rs One lakh in two hours leaves the house to go to a betting pub. Bittu(Sonu Sood) who also loves to earn quick money plans to loot Rs 1500 cr  from a local bank in Vizag with the help of MLA Varada Rajulu( Kota).

Ravi requests a ride and gets it from Bittu and co. who are on their way to loot the bank. Ravi quickly realizes the gang’s motto but keeps it with himself and gets down at pub. When police commissioner raids the pub, Ravi discloses them about Bittu gang plan.

Police commissioner along with Ravi locates the money truck. Realising the fact that police are behind him, Bittu brother Shafiq hides the money in dump yard before gets killed by Ravi in an effort to save the police commissioner.

Now, Bittu who was arrested by police escapes the jail and on the lookout for Ravi to take revenge. Rest of the story is all about ego clashes between Ravi and Bittu before locating the stolen money.

Performance: Allu Arjun justified his role as dynamic and intelligent young boy. Needless to say he showed his energetic dancing skills. But the role didn’t have the scope to showcase his acting skills.

Ileana is big disappointment as heroine. She is too skinny to the liking of Tollywood audience. Acting aside, glamour quotient too is missing in her role.

Sonu Sood is routine in antagonist role. Rajendra Prasad acted in a rather less prominent role. Kota, Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, Dharmavarapu, Brahmaji,Tulasi, Hema and Pragathi justified their roles.

Brahmanandam and MS Narayana are OK in comedy department. Ali and Vennela Kishore appear in “miss if you blink” roles.

Udaya Bhanu one minute dance surely fetches her more chances as item girl.

Analysis: Audience had lot of expectations on this crazy combination of Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas. The movie takes off well but fails to maintain the same tempo in the second half. First half is entertaining while the second half runs on predictable note with slow pace.

We are not sure how Trivikram defends about total police department following the instructions of Allu Arjun where he is an ordinary young boy. The action sequences are so stupid and definitely don’t expect them from director like Trivikram. Too many characters with no are limited footage spoiled the movie. Though the dialogues are good, comedy from Brahmanadam and MS Narayana are bit disappointing. Trivikram failed to utilize the glamor of Ileana, not even in songs. Allu Arjun charecterisation is one dimensional and lacks different shades. Lack of drama may also hamper the chances of family audience turn out to the movie.

Final Verdict: On the whole, the movie appeals to those who like Trivikram mark comedy. Watch this Julaayi Once.
