IOC keen to stamp out illegal betting

The International Olympic Committee are stepping up the drive against illegal betting.
A meeting of sports chiefs, government ministers, Interpol and the United Nations on Wednesday led to a decision to form three groups of experts to develop ways of combating the practice.
Sports and Olympics minister Hugh Robertson was among those taking part in the meeting in Lausanne.
IOC president Jacques Rogge said: "We foresee increased co-operation in the monitoring and co-ordination of the fight against illegal and irregular betting in sport.
"Today saw our first proactive steps toward that goal and an increased level of commitment in our joint fight against this threat to sport."
The experts will split into three groups looking at: education programmes and a possible code of conduct; monitoring of and intelligence about illegal betting; legislation and regulations to toughen up laws and rules.
